In the week before half term Ms Coull held the first round of the ‘Future Chef’ competition. It saw pupils cooking up a storm. From sweet to savoury it was up to Ms Fishpool, Ms Turner and Mr Irving to decide which two pupils had cooked well enough to progress them to the next round.
They choose Reece who plated up fresh homemade pasta carbonara, served with garlic bread, he even made his own garlic butter, and Mia who created a delicious melt in the middle chocolate brownie surprise.
These two pupils are progressing to the next round, which will be held at Middlesbrough College on 27th November. Good luck Reece and Mia.
