On Saturday, a group of staff and Year 10 pupils completed a sponsored walk to raise money to buy the camping equipment the pupils will need to complete their overnight camp later this summer.
They walked from Captain Cook’s Monument over to Highcliffe, then back using the Cleveland Way and via the base of Roseberry Topping. Even the constant rain couldn’t dampen their enthusiasm, it just gave them an opportunity to use their pop up shelters to have their lunch in.
A great day out even with the rain and the mud, whilst raising money for a good cause. If you would like to make a donation to the camping fund please contact Mrs Proudman, Mrs Featherstone or Mr Firth.
